Description
During the Great Depression, Pap Buck, better known as Boyd Freas, would barter with
the locals of the Village of Summerhill. Frequently, he was offered apple seeds in
exchange for products from his 20 acre working farm. Pictured on our label is what
remains today from the original row of 16 apple trees that split the fields at the top of
the knoll on the farm. Thanks to Pap Buck, giving back to the community has been at
the Core of Our Existence for nearly 50 fifty years.
